exacto core® is based on standard Microsoft products – primarily Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SQL. We make use of the synergies between the two platforms, so Excel becomes a familiar and intuitive user interface on top of a strong database technology.

The majority of the solutions we develop for our clients start from our exacto core® technology. On top of that, we further develop and adapt the individual solutions so that they best meet the needs of the companies.

What benefits are there?

With the coupling of Excel and SQL, the user experiences no difference, because you simply write directly from Excel and into the database. Because of the built-in user rights (Microsoft AD), all users can make use of one and the same Excel file, which means that, with exacto core®, you can eliminate nearly all Excel files in a given business process, e.g. within budgeting and planning.

In addition to the Excel integration, exacto core® contains a number of valuable functionalities, such as log function, server-based error handling and a very flexible data model, which can be tailored to any need. Our solutions can be scaled in virtually unlimited ways. For example, we have experience with applications all the way up to 1,000 users.

We tailor the solutions

We always enter into close dialogue with our clients concerning their expectations and needs when we develop new solutions. We focus on making sure that the user interface in Excel is familiar to the individual user – and that it best reflects the reality in which the users operate.

At the same time, we have a very specific focus on providing solutions which are far more intuitive, flexible and fast to work in compared to what the users have been used to previously. Good user experience is in the centre.

The goal is, among other things, to create better overview of data faster and thus make workflows easier. The goal is also to raise the level of data quality and security through, for example, built-in controls and different layers of user rights in the solution. All so that decision-makers at all times have a solid and fully updated data foundation for making important business decisions.
